Hopefully this catches Fall and Xerxus's attention. Disgaea was just released for Nintendo DS, and I downloaded it and...
So far, I love the game. It's got such a huge level of depth it's a tad overwhelming, and yet it's so refined and straight-forward it's amazing, which is exactly what I love in any game. Everything thus far is spot on. The gameplay, the graphics, the story and the writing. It's all golden. That and because I know a lot of people here adore this game to no end, and I've been hearing vague references to it for pretty much as far back as I care to remember, it's got this huge nostalgia thing to it that I really don't think any other human on earth could quite experience the same way I do.
So, oh experts, any tips? Tricks? Nifty things? Things to watch out for? I'm only a few hours into it as I type this(I wasted a few hours in "Item world" not understanding what it was), so please try not to spoil too much in the way of storyline for me. Anything else is fair game though.
And I'm sorry it took me so long to finally play this game.
