=---------------------------------------------------=
What if I worry for tommorrow,
but party for today?
I set my plans on golden pillars
yet act them out on paper hopes
Ripping holes in things unrippable
Repairing holes in things unhurt
Dreaming dreams in other languages
Languages I don't know
thinking about life and all that implies
While I waste it away
17 years in,
Already behind
It's time
To catch up
(564.) Morning Air 03/28/06 6:31 P.M.
=---------------------------------------------------=
Good morning time,
Good morning space.
Good morning world,
and the human race.
Dawn is an instance,
One tiny little spot
Keeping pace with life
Not once was it caught.
I woke up early
I thought to myself
If this trully were reality
Would it realize itself?
Street lights fading
Let me know the cause
The cause for my distant longing
Is brought forth inside my flaws
Moon stays out past it's bedtime
Stealing a bit of light from our daytime
But it won't be out a longtime
Just long enough to live a lifetime
The day that I shall die
That is the day on which I shall realize
The thing for which I long
Was right before my eyes
All this thinking
Has left my mind in wreck
Thought of my insignificance
I am but tiny speck
When mist clears from the ground
I hope the world is still here
For if it were to vanish before I said goodbye
The world would drown beneath my tear
The new day is my canvas
I have come to paint
The only thing I hope for
Is that I show restraint
Who is it that I wake for?
What reason do I live?
Through all my years of exisistence
An answer life will not give
I have come to realize
That things are not always fair
But I have accepted this
As I breathe in morning air
