Then one day I'm reading the paper and I read a headline saying that drugs have been legalized in the entire mexican republic. Not just marijuana, but every kind of drug. There's also new stuff going on for cel phone companies where one has to register their number aside from the necessary activation in order to continue having service. I also read something about a possible nationwide, random phone tapping. The kind of stuff that the Patirot Act would allow in the US, only in Mexico. But what gets me is that in the media there was nothing ever mentioned about the legalization of drugs, the phone tappings and the registration of cel phones.
I've heard everything from different people in Mexico. Some say that the whole "swine flu" was just a cover up to keep people scared and focused on something else while the legislators in Mexico City passed all these new laws legalizing drugs and all that other stuff I listed. Others think that the virus is real and that if you're not wearing a face cover you're likely to get it. I'm a little skeptical on both sides of the debate. What do you guys think is the deal with this?
